Google Authenticator (2FA) Binding Steps

Google Authenticator is a two-factor authentication (2FA) tool that generates time-sensitive verification codes. Similar to SMS verification but more secure, it produces a new 6-digit code every 30 seconds.

These codes are required for:

  • Account logins

  • Withdrawal requests

  • Security setting modifications

Here’s how to set it up.

Web

Google Authenticator Verification Setup

1.Log in to your personal account on the official website.

2. Click on the profile icon in the top-right corner.

3. Go to Security.

4. Select Authenticator.

5. Click on the 'Settings' button on the right.

iOS:

Please scan the QR code on the left to download the Google Authenticator app.

Android:

Please scan the QR code on the right to download the app.

Once the download is complete, click the 'Next' button.

6. Open the Google Authenticator app on your phone, then scan the QR code or manually enter the verification key to generate the 2FA code.

7. Click the 'Send Verification Code' button. Check your email for the verification code and paste it into the verification box.

8. Check the 6-digit code generated in the Google Authenticator app and paste it into the box.

9. Click the 'Confirm' button to complete the authenticator binding process.

APP

1.After logging in, navigate to the profile icon (top-left corner) and select Security Center.

2. Click the 'Settings' button next to Google Authenticator.

3. Tap Download and wait for Google Authenticator to install.

4. Choose one of the provided setup options and complete the Google Authenticator binding process in the Google Authenticator app (as shown in the image).

5. Return to BitDa App and enter the 6-digit verification code from Google Authenticator.

Friendly Reminder

  1. The verification code is used for security verification during login, withdrawals, security settings changes, and other operations. It is convenient, fast, and highly secure. We recommend linking it to your account.

  2. Do not delete the Google Authenticator app’s verification code, as this will prevent you from performing account operations.

    If you lose your phone or accidentally delete the app, making it impossible to enter the Google Authenticator code, please contact customer support.
